Travel insurance is as essential to your holiday as your passport and yet a lot of people aren’t buying it until the day before their trip. Our findings showed that low per cent of holidaymakers are leaving shopping for travel insurance until the day before they jet off, which is far from the best idea.

Buying travel insurance that late could mean you are subject to some huge expenses, such as high medical bills, lost luggage or finding new flights if facing a cancellation.  We created an infographic to highlight some of the Travel Insurance findings.
