Our Virtual Care Program has received a new update in that 6 new features and services have been added. We also now have a new user-friendly app which offers new features and services, making it easier to seamless access everything you need at the tip of your finger.

AIG has partnered with Teladoc Health, the largest provider of telemedicine services, so that you can benefit from quick and reassuring support, as well as convenient and easy access to non-urgent health and wellbeing solutions in multiple languages, wherever you are in the world.

How to Access

How to access the AIG Virtual Care Program 

  1. Access the app or visit the portal 
  2. www.aigvirtualcareprogram.com and choose your preferred language. 
  3. Click on "Access my account". 
  4. Please complete the required details. 
  5. Introduce your access code, followed by the last four digits of your AIG policy number.
  6. Once registered, you will be able to request a consultation for a range of health and wellness services.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Medical Consultation, Medical Second Opinion, Mental Health coaching, Nutritionist consultations (english only), access to the Get Fit Program and wellbeing exercises (english only), as well as a range of mental Health and wellbeing Digital content.

Currently, for policies issued out of AIG in Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Norway, France, Greece (later in 2025), Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, and Spain.

Danish, Finnish, Swedish, French, Dutch, English, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish. Norwegian and Greek will be available later in 2025.

MEDICAL CONSULTATION:

Consultation provided via call back from a qualified and licensed doctor within 4 hours in English, Spanish and Portuguese and 6 working hours for remaining languages, as well as cases requested in English and delivered by Irish doctors.

Scheduled video calls are also available in English only.

Working hours: English 24/7, 365 days per year. Other languages, Monday to Friday from 8h to 20h local time.

SECOND MEDICAL OPINION:

Case allocated by a clinical committee to a top leading medical expert who will review it and provide answers in the form of a personalized report within 15 business days. 

Call-back by a qualified and licensed doctor in the language requested within 1 business day.

Working hours: Monday to Friday from 9h to 17h local time.

MENTAL HEALTH COACHING:

Consultation provided by qualified and licensed health/wellness which will provide personalized and confidential support and suggest follow-up session if deemed appropriate.

Call-back after request within 2 business days.

Scheduled video calls are also available in English only.

Working hours: Monday to Friday from 9h to 17h local time.

EXPERT NUTRITIONIST:

Consultation provided by qualified and licensed nutrition professional, which will provide personalized advice and, if applicable, an ad-hoc menu.

Services available in English only.

Call-back after request within 2 business days.

Working hours: Monday to Friday from 9h to 17h local time.

GET FIT PROGRAM:

Available 24x7 via the mobile App, english only.

For WELLBEING EXERCISES:

Available 24x7 via the mobile App, english only.

For MENTAL HEALTH & WELLBEING DIGITAL CONTENT:

Available 24x7 via the mobile App.

Service can be requested 24/7 and is provided worldwide. The service can be used domestically and even when travelling abroad with work or on holiday.

To register in the program, the eligible insured will be required to fill-in an online survey to determine his eligibility.  

Eligible insureds with a BMI below 17,5 kg/m2 or greater than 45 kg/m2 will be excluded from the program for reasons of medical safety. Pregnancy and lactation, underaged, insulin-dependent diabetes as well as any other chronic diseases that would require for the intervention of a doctor (including but not strictly limited to heart problems, cancer or neurological disease) are also excluded. 

In the above cases leading to exclusion from the Get Fit Program, the Eligible insured can get in touch with a Nutritionist, who will be able to explain the reasons for exclusion and suggest a path forward, providing personalized advice and, if applicable, an ad-hoc menu. The nutritionist service will only be available in English language.

This brochure provides key information about the bundled services provided and include instructions on how to access the web portal, register and use the access codes to request the services. The relevant access code will be included there as well. 

When accessing the web portal or the App, the client will be required to click on “access my account”, and complete the required details, using the access code provided followed by the last four digits of the policy number.
