During your policy period, you may want to change your vehicle to something new. It is important to let us know as soon as possible so we can change the vehicle details on your policy and ensure that you are insured. Once the new vehicle is reflected on your policy, you will receive an updated certificate, policy schedule and receipt. In some cases your new premium may be cheaper and if this is the case, we will create a refund for you.

If your address has changed since taking out a policy with us, you will need to inform us to remain covered. In most cases you will be issued a new quote based on the details provided. Once the new address has been updated you will receive a new policy schedule, receipt and statement of fact.

If you need to substitute your current insured vehicle temporarily, let us know and we will transfer your cover to the temporary vehicle.
Conditions of a Temporary Car Substitution

If you own another vehicle and want to add this to your policy temporarily, you can do this for a maximum of 2 weeks at an additional cost of €26.25 per week. If you are looking to add this vehicle permanently to your policy then you must contact us at 1890 27 27 27 and we can do our best to help you with this change.

You can add a temporary driver to your policy for up to 4 weeks. You'll need to set a start date and time so we know when to begin covering the temporary driver. The charge for the extra driver is on a weekly basis and will depend on the driver's license, age and experience on the road.

If you need a copy of your documents or didn't receive your documents by email you should always let us know as soon as possible so that we can reissue these to you. We also keep a copy of our policy wordings available online on our car page in case you need to view this in a hurry. It's important that your email address is valid and available to receive emails upon submitting this request.
Though we will do our best to maintain your premium, you should keep in mind that changes to your policy may change your premium. These adjustments will be made in proportion to your current policy.
