AIG Ireland - Crossbar Challenge

 

Watch as participants do their best at AIG's Crossbar Challenge in Parnell Park. AIG would like to extend a big thank you to all those who took part.

 

 

Hurling - The AIG Crossbar Challenge took place half time of the Dublin County Hurling Final at Parnell Park on the October bank holiday weekend, with minor players from Kilmacud Crokes and St. Judes participating. The challenge proved difficult but provided great entertainment for the big crowd who attended the game. AIG would like to thanks both teams for taking part.

 

Football - The AIG Crossbar challenge took place at the Dublin County Football final at Parnell Park on the October bank holiday weekend. Minor players from St Vincent's and Oliver Plunkett's Eoin Ruadh, the clubs whose seniors were taking part in final, participated. In front of an impressive crowd of 12,000 people it was Michael O'Driscoll from St. Vincent's who hit the sweet spot, winning €300 worth of equipment for his team. AIG would like to thank both teams for taking part.

Rules of the challenge

  1. kick/ swing from the 14 yard line
  2. 5 minor players per team
  3. 1 shot each & highest score wins
  4. winner gets €300 for their club
